The TDA8560Q is an integrated class-B output amplifier in a 13-lead single-in-line power package. It contains 2 ´ 40 W/2 W amplifiers in BTL configuration. The device is primarily developed for car radio applications. The TDA8560Q contains two identical amplifiers and can be used for bridge applications. The gain of each amplifier is fixed at 40 dB. Special features of the device are as follows.

The following a 4 x 35 watts channels/quad audio power amplifier circuit based IC TDA7383. The amplifier circuit is designed specifically suitable for car audio system applications. This is a 22 Watt car stereo audio amplifier. The circuit is based by a single IC TDA1553 with some external components, this IC will handle your stereo car audio system. When a short-circuit to ground occurs, which forces a DC voltage across the loudspeaker of >= V, a built-in protection circuit becomes active and limits the DC voltage across the loudspeaker to <= V. Pin 12 detects the status of the protection circuit (e.g. for diagnostic purposes).

If any output is short-circuited to ground during the standby mode, it becomes impossible to switch the circuit to the mute or operating condition. In this event the supply current will be limited to a few milliamps.

This is a 5 Watt stereo audio amplifier circuit, built based on single amplifier TA7227 chip. The TA7227 can be used for dual mode (stereo) and single mode (bridge/mono). This IC type featured some circuit protection: thermal protection, over voltage protection, current limitter and BTL DC short connection.

The circuit roughly draws 5A current at 12 V at full volume.So the power supply must be any thing more than 5A. Up to 15 V can be used ,which gives a bit more power boost.Commonly used is 12 V.

12 Volt Audio Amplifier Used IC TDA7222AP

This is the circuit diagram of a 6W audio power amplifier using the IC TA7222AP. IC TDA7222AP is an excellent integrated audio amplifier which can deliver 5.8W to a 4 Ohms load at 12V supply voltage. 150W amplifier circuit car is equipped with Active Crossover and this circuit using the chip that has a 4-channel power amplifier. Active Crossover function is used to separate the tone of the bass, midrange and treble, the output of direct Active Crossover can be strengthened by the power amplifier.


Power Chip 4-channel amplifier in use is SANYO LA47536 output with output power up to 150W, whereas for Active Crossover using LF353 from National Semiconductor.

This is a 5watt stereo power amplifier used IC BA5406. IC BA5406 contains two sets of AF power amplifiers. It delivers 5W x 2 into 3 ohm loads with a 12V supply. It has minimal power-on pop noise and has immunity to supply voltage drop. It also has minimal RF radiation.

Recommended supply voltage: 5-15V. Ideally the power supply should be able to deliver over 2.5 Amps. This means that a typical ‘cheap’ plugin power supply (wall wart) will not be good enough. The power supply leads should be as short as possible. Quiescent current 20-70mA, typically 40mA.

This is the circuit diagram of a simple 24W mono amplifier using IC TDA1516.The TDA1516 is an integrated class B power amplifier in a 13 pin SIL package.
