When a short-circuit to ground occurs, which forces a DC voltage across the loudspeaker of >= V, a built-in protection circuit becomes active and limits the DC voltage across the loudspeaker to <= V. Pin 12 detects the status of the protection circuit (e.g. for diagnostic purposes).
If any output is short-circuited to ground during the standby mode, it becomes impossible to switch the circuit to the mute or operating condition. In this event the supply current will be limited to a few milliamps.

This power amplifier circuit require a multi voltage power supply , because the amplifier require : +Vs Positive supply voltage referred to pin 13 (GND), Negative supply voltage referred to pin 13 (GND) -Vs, VCD+ Positive supply voltage tracking rail, VCD- Negative supply voltage tracking rail . The +Vs Positive supply voltage can be : +20 to +30 volts, -Vs Negative supply voltage : -10 to -22 volts , Positive supply voltage tracking rail VCD+ : +3 to 17 volts , Negative supply voltage tracking rail VCD- : -17 to -3 volts . VCD- must not be more negative than -Vs and VCD+ must not be more positive than +VS .
In this circuit diagram, R1/R3 (or R2/R4) ratio fix the gain of the preamplifier. If the input signal is very low, is possible to increase the gain fixing the product Vin*G = cost. In that case is possible to increase G decreasing R1,2 from 10KW until 2KW without relevant effetcs on the circuit behavior and remaining in the operating range Iin_max = Vin_max/R1(2) <1ma.>This is a 2 x 70W audio power amplifier circuit which built using single IC STA550.

This is a 1 watt stereo audio amplifier circuit using IC TDA 7053 from Philips. It is particularly suited to battery operation, providing 1 watt per channel from only a 6V DC supply. It will operate best from 6 – 12 V DC and requires no heat-sink for normal use.
Since the amplifier circuit in BTL configuration, the outputs are floating with respect to ground. Therefore NO output leads should be connected to ground. The Philips data sheet contains all the necessary information about the TDA7053.

The mini amplifier circuit only a few external components, the IC contains most of the necessary circuitry. R1,R2 and R3,R4 are the feedback resistors. C1 provides power supply decoupling. C2 and C3 are the input coupling capacitors, which block any DC that might be present on the inputs. C4,C5 block DC in the feed back circuit from the inverting inputs, and C6,C7 are the output coupling capacitors. C8, R5 and C9,R6 act as zobel networks providing a high frequency load to maintain stability at frequencies where loud speaker inductive reactance may become excessive. The pot provides adjustable input level attenuation.
